Backup & Disaster Recovery

Backup and disaster recovery

Verified backups and a clear recovery plan, not just a job running somewhere.

Backups for data, servers and Microsoft 365, with restore testing.

A backup is only worth something if the restore works. The common problem isn't a lack of backups, but discovering — exactly when you need them — that they didn't contain what they should have.

We set up backups for the data that matters, check them regularly through test restores and document the recovery steps, so that decisions during an incident are not made under pressure.

What you get

  • Your company's data can be recovered, and this has been verified.
  • A ransomware incident doesn't mean losing all your data.
  • Recovery time is estimated, not assumed.
  • Responsibilities in an incident are clear in advance.

What's included

Service components

Backup for data and servers

Backups of your company's files, servers and critical applications, with retention set according to your actual needs.

Backup for Microsoft 365

Separate protection for email, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams, beyond the platform's default retention.

Restore testing

Verification restores at set intervals. An untested backup is an assumption, not a safeguard.

Recovery plan

A document describing what is restored, in what order and who decides, so that recovery is a procedure, not improvisation.

How often should backups be taken?

It depends on how much work you can afford to lose. We agree that interval together for each type of data, and the backup frequency follows from it.

Doesn't Microsoft 365 already have backup?

Microsoft ensures the availability of the service and limited retention. That does not replace a backup solution with its own retention, controlled by your company.

How do we know the backup actually works?

Through test restores carried out regularly and reported on. That is the only check that counts.

Need IT that simply works?

We start with a short conversation and an assessment of where things stand — no obligation.
